DR Congo: Watu kadhaa waliuawa kanisani kwenye shambulizi la kigaidi
Idadi ya waliofariki kwenye shambulizi la kigaidi kanisani mjini Kasindi,mashariki mwa DRC Jumapili wiki hii imepanda hadi watu kumi na wanne, huku vitengo vya usalama nchini humo vikiripoti kukamatwa kwa raia wa Kenya kama mhusika mkuu wa shambulizi hilo. Rais wa Kenya William Ruto ni miongoni mwa viongozi wakuu kwenye ukanda wa Afrika Mashariki, ambao wametuma risala za rambi rambi huku kundi la kigaidi la ADF likihusishwa na shambulizi hilo.
Abdirizak Muktar Garad, mzaliwa wa kaunti ya Wajir nchini Kenya, mwenye umri wa miaka 29 anazuiliwa nchini DRC kwa tuhuma za kushiriki katika shambulizi la kigaidi ambalo limesababisha vifo vya watu kumi na wanne, huku 39 wakiripotiwa kujeruhiwa vibaya na kulazwa hospitalini.
Kitengo cha DCI cha Kenya, kinachohusika na uchunguzi wa ugaidi ATPU, kinasemekana kushirikiana na maafisa wa usalama nchini DRC kupata taarifa muhimu kumhusu mshukiwa, na historia yake kuhusiana na alipojiunga na makundi ya kigaidi na ikiwa amewahi kusafiri kwenye mataifa ambapo ugaidi umekita mizizi hasa utoaji wa mafunzo ya kivita na mashambulizi.
Nchini DRC kitengo cha kijeshi FARDC kimetangaza kwamba shambulizi hilo lilitekelezwa na wanachama wa kundi la kigaidi la Allied Democratic Force (ADF), kilicho na chimbuko lake nchini Uganda.
Kundi hilo ambalo limejihusisha na kundi la kigaidi la ISIS Limehusika katika mashambulizi ya kigaidi jijini Kampala na vile vile Masaka, na eneo ambapo jeshi la Uganda liliingilia DRC katika operesheni SHUJAA ya kupambana na magaidi.
Mapema jumanne, taarifa za shambulizi lingine jijini MAMBASA kwenye eneo la kaskazini mwa KIVU NCHINI DRC pia zimechipuka.
Katika kisa cha jumapili, bomu lililipuliwa kanisani wakati ibada ilikuwa inaendelea huku kundi la ISIS likitaja kwamba lilihusika kupitia kundi la ADF.
Uhazili wa Jamii ya kimataifa umetoa taarifa ya kuomboleza na DRC na jamii ya waliofiwa . Rais wa kenya William Ruto kupitia mtandao wa kijamii wa twitter, amelaani kitendo hicho kwenye kanisa la lubiriha ambapo ubatizo wa waumini ulikuwa unafanyika wakati wa shambulizi, huku akivitaka vitengo vya usalama kuchunguza na kuwakamata waliotekeleza mauaji hayo.
Aidha RAis amesisitiza klwamba hatua hiyo ya kigaidi inazipa nguvu serikali za jumuiya ya EAC kukaza kamba katika juhudi za kupambana na uhalifu huo.
Jumuiya ya AFrika mashariki imetoa taarifa ya kulaani kitendo hicho , huku ikiomboleza na Rais Felix Tsishekedi wa DRC huku katibu wake akitaka marais wa eneo hili kuungana kujadili suala la usalama wa eneo la EAC na juhudi za kuhakikisha hilo linatekelezwa.
Kulingana na vitengo vya usalama nchini DRC maafisa wao wanafuatilia kwa kina taarifa za kuwepo kwa mabomu mengine yaliyopandwa kwenye mji ulioshambuliwa jumapili na kwamba wanahakikisha kwamba yanadhibitiwa.
