The Holy Betrayal

The seventh-Day Adventist church has been fighting for it's space and legitimacy over the years as critics and self-proclaimed cult watchers like Dr Walter Martin attempted to liken it to one in a 1955 book, the Rise of the Cults. Until Walter and the likes changed their views in 1965, the church has grown and tremendously transformed the belief of their members. By 2019, there were 21,000,000 baptized members around the world. In this story, we focus on the emergence of SDA offshoots, splinter groups that are threatening the legitimacy of the church and creating a fight between extremists and Adventists.
