The Barut Murders Revised

Four months ago, four people were shot and killed by police officers in Nakuru county’s Barut Ward. The police account showed that the four were a part of several people, ordered by officers to stop, but they refused, and engaged police in an hour-long fight on a nearby road. The police claim the attackers fought them with arrows and machetes, resulting in the fatal shooting, as an unknown number of the attackers escaped. Later, they would claim that the four were members of the dreaded Nyuki Squad, a Confirm gang subsidiary. We return to the heinous murders, delving into the emerging web of evidence, challenging law enforcement's official line, and asking crucial questions about the killings, that point to an execution.
