Jalang’o’s biblical response to ODM’s ejection plan
Langata MP Felix Odiwuor, alias Jalang’o has reacted to plans by ODM to expel him and four others from the party over their association with President William Ruto.
Via X on Wednesday, Jalang’o turned to the Bible to respond to the party.
“No trial is too heavy to lift! No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide a way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. CORINTHIANS 10:13,” his tweet read in part.
Jalang’o was among five Parliamentarians who the party plans to expel. Others include Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), Caroli Omondi (Suba South), Gideon Ochanda (Bondo) and Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda.
The party said the resolution was arrived at during a National Executive Committee of the party held on Wednesday under the leadership of Party leader Raila Odinga.
ODM Chairman John Mbadi said the MPs had openly associated with President Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza Party.
He added that the soon-to-be expelled members had also opposed lawful decisions and resolutions made by the party, contrary to Article 11 of the ODM constitution.
The ODM party is thus directed to commence their removal from the party register.
