The highly acclaimed showmax original series single kiasi, is due for a second season. Official dates have been announced by Showmax with a teaser key art that hints on the girls’ return to the streets on a mission to discovering themselves.
Single Kiasi first came to our screens early last year, starring Faith Kibathi, Minne Kariuki Njuguna and Gathoni Mutua. In the first season, the series that quickly became a Kenyan Favorite, followed the three ladies in their journeys to finding love and their struggles with relationships.
Season one ends with a cliff hanger as Rebecca’s husband (Rebecca played by Faith) finds out that Rebecca has been cheating on him, while Mariah (played by Minne) discovers she is pregnant after escapades with her suger daddy and Sintamei (Played by Gathoni) struggles with a decision to build a life with her intern lover after finding out she is pregnant.
It is a drama series that is an Insignia production creation, co-produced by Grace Kahaki and Philippe Bresson, mirrors today’s dating scene in Nairobi, making it relatable to audiences all around.
The second season will air exclusively on showmax on the 16th of January 2023.
The second season will also see favorites Brian Abajah, Michael Smallz Munyoki, Justified Bruce, Derek Banga and Kevin Maina make a return. While introducing, Grace Wacuka, Fidel Maithya, Quincy Rapando, Ian Mbugua, Mufasa Poet, Ciku Shire and Ashley Brandy Kareez.
