The late former president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi had devised strategies and tactics that endeared him to the masses, and years later, his crowd-pulling strategies are still being applied.
Nowadays, huge crowds at political events are a show of might, popularity and influence. But are they organic and genuine? Are the masses supporting the politicians or amassing money for themselves?
