Carabao Cup Win: How Manchester United fans in Kenya were treated by KOHLER
[SP] KOHLER, the US-headquartered lifestyle brand and leader in design and innovation of kitchen and bath products is the principal Partner, and the first-ever sleeve sponsor, for Manchester United men’s and women’s teams.
The partnership extends from global sustainability and social responsibility projects to curating exclusive experiences for Kohler customers, architects, and design partners.
A uniquely designed ‘phygital’ match viewing experience was executed by Kohler Africa to celebrate the finals of Carabao Cup where Man Utd took on Newcastle.
The high-energy, by-invitation-only match viewing event had an audience of over 50 participants from the architect, designer, and developer communities. Over 500 nominations were also received during the pre-event digital build-up.
The event was hosted by sports journalist and analyst Carol Radull. Man Utd legend Louis Saha made an exclusive appearance to take questions from the guests on his personal career and his journey with the Man Utd club. Louis Saha also judged and rewarded viewers with autographed Man Utd jerseys for asking relevant and probing questions.
The event also saw enthusiastic participation by the audience for the ‘Predict and Win’ contest. The winners of this contest received autographed Man Utd football by Carol Radull. Kohler Africa intends to continue with their strong engagement initiatives and shall be hosting the next chapter of the Man Utd event towards the later half of the year.
