Bungoma teacher breaks into tears after school posts poor KCPE results
A teacher of Moi Commonwealth Primary School could not hold his tears after receiving the poorest KCPE results since the school was launched by the late president Daniel Arap Moi.
The school which emerged as top in the 2021 KCPE exams is now missing on the map after the best pupil only managed to get 365 marks out of the possible 500 compared to 418 in 2021.
Emotional head teacher Kevin Wanyama with teary eyes told journalists that something sinister may have interfered with the results of children which he said the school had vested a lot of hope in.
Teachers together with parents affirmed their determination to appeal against the results and seek for more light on what tampered with the results.
The candidates have been leading in all Mock exams before sitting for the 2022 KCPE, and parents and teachers were confident of the best results.
Wanyama’s child who also sat for the exam at the school got 334 marks against the expectations of the school, he says his child had never gotten below 390 marks.
This comes at a time when the best Pupil nationally, Fwaro Makokha Robinson emerged from Christ The King Primary school with 431 Marks.
