Court To Hear Sonko’s Case
The Mombasa gubernatorial court case is to be heard today. The three-judge bench had stopped the IEBC commission from gazetting and printing papers until the case is heard and determined. Mike Sonko had sued the Mombasa county returning officer for barring him from the governor’s race. IEBC gave Kalonzo’s wiper party 72hours to pick Sonko’s replacement, after which, they settled for Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo.
Wajackoyah Denies Holding Dual Citizenship
Complainant Solomon Gichira has written to the British high commission seeking clarification on whether Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah is still a registered British citizen. The complainant wants to establish whether Wajackoyah has flaunted the constitutional provision prohibiting state officers from holding dual citizenship. Wajackoyah, on the other hand, denied ever having changed his citizenship.

Mwaure dismissed Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah bhang’s agenda to repay the country’s loans. “There seems to be a lot about the background. One can tell clearly he is in the intelligence; you don’t retire from that. You are not serious to say you’ll pay our best by planting and harvesting a product that is illegal in the nation,” Mwaure responded when asked about his view on the Roots party presidential candidate

Azimio-One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua will lead presidential campaigns in Kiambu county. The duo is on a vote hunting mission across the country. The ODM party leader was in Nyeri county yesterday where he promised to build on infrastructure projects if he makes the next government.
Kenya Kwanza In Marsabit County
UDA presidential candidate William Ruto and his deputy president nominee Rigathi Gachagua will be in Marsabit county, wooing its residents. The DP had started its tour of the North-Eastern region in Isiolo where he drummed up support for his candidacy and for the Kenya Kwanza outfit. Ruto accused the Azimio team of drinking water and preaching wine, pledging to investigate the KEMSA graft if elected president.
