Radio Africa “sorry” for inconveniences during Boyz II Men concert
Yetu Festival organisers have come out to apologise following a public outcry for the hitches during the Boyz II Men concert held on Saturday, June 10.
In a press statement, Radio Africa Events said they had listened to concert-goers’ feedback and were investigating the “root causes of the sound issues” experienced during the show.
“We have engaged experienced sound engineers and technical experts to analyse the situation thoroughly. We are committed to rectifying these issues and ensuring that all future concerts deliver the exceptional audio and layout experience you deserve,” it read.
The organisers expressed their apologies for the frustrations experienced by concert-goers vowing to rectify where they may have gone wrong.
“The overwhelming success of that concert (Anthony Hamilton) motivated us to curate and bring an even more remarkable event this year. We however sincerely apologise for falling short of your expectations with regards, particularly to the sound quality and layout in the General Arena. We acknowledge it was a concert of two parts. We understand the disappointment and frustration you may have felt and we want to assure you that we take your feedback seriously,” they noted.
The Stanbic Yetu Festival had been highly anticipated following previous success of Anthony Hamilton’s concert in 2022.
Concert-goers were however disappointed in the organisation of the event, taking to social media to call out the organisers citing bad sound and a faulty screen set up for regular ticket holders.
