Copycat drama: Vera Sidika and Amber Ray feud over helicopter gender reveal
Kenyan socialites Vera Sidika and Amber Ray have once again taken to social media to air their grievances against each other. This time, the beef started after Vera Sidika accused Amber Ray of copying her baby gender reveal party.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Vera Sidika claimed that Amber Ray intentionally copied her gender reveal party to post it before hers aired on Showmax’s “Real Housewives of Nairobi” show, to make it look like Vera copied her.
She further added that Amber had been stalking her on social media, spreading hate towards her, and claiming that she was fake.
“This copying thing was your intention initially. I don’t care about a chopper. I’ve flown in proper choppers, private jets, and been about that life for over 10 years straight. That’s why we pay for it to just fly across & reveal & not be inside it, coz we used to this life,” Vera wrote.
On the other hand, Amber Ray fired back at Vera claiming that all gender reveal parties were copied from Jenna Karvunidis, who started the trend in 2008.
“I also copied the gender, I copied marriage and everything else that came before me. Allow me to explain something to you my enemy! All gender reveal parties are copied from Jenna Karvunidis who begun the trend in 2008. So while I leave your brains scattered back there. I’m far away in 2023 where we do parties to enjoy not to be the best online trend. My game is natural, my fame comes naturally …just like you made it happen now. Be creative to enjoy not to entertain. Let your enjoyment be their entertainment,” Amber wrote.
The two socialites have been involved in a long-standing feud, with both frequently throwing shade at each other on social media. This latest incident has only fueled the fire, with fans taking sides and engaging in heated debates online.
Despite their differences, both Vera and Amber mentioned using helicopters for their baby reveal parties in 2023, suggesting that they are both planning to have children in the near future.
The online spat between the two socialites has generated a lot of attention and debate among fans and social media users.
