Ndeiya lost brothers found dead at Joska area, Nairobi
A family in Ndeiya village, Limuru constituency in Kiambu County is appealing to Director of Criminal Investigations boss George Kinoti to investigate how its two sons were murdered in Kamulu area of Nairobi County.
The two, Johnson Karuga aged 26 years and his 24-year-old brother Kevin Kimani, went missing last week on Monday, September 5.
The two had gone to a club at Kamulu to watch a football match on Sunday, September 4, and did not return home. According to their father, Joseph Kimani, that was the last time the two sons were traced, since the following day, their phones had been switched off.
After searching for them for days, their father said his sons were found near a bridge at Joska area, one week after their disappearance.
According to insiders, they allege the two brothers were involved in an altercation in the pub. The pub security then contacted boda boda operators who trailed Karuga and Kevin and beat them senselessly a few meters from the club, with the two boys succumbing to the injuries.
The bodies of the two were taken to Nairobi City mortuary and according to Haki Africa they sustained injuries inflicted by being hit with a blunt object.
Speaking to the family members at Tigoni Hospital mortuary where the bodies were transferred, Haki Africa’s Executive Director, Hussein Khalid, asked the DCI to hasten investigations so that justice can be done.
He added that his organisation would move together with the family through each step to ensure justice is done and the killers brought to book.
