One in four Kenyans suffers from mental illness, but there is no substantive data and research on the mental health of journalists, a gap that is now becoming more evident in the wake of public mental health crises and appeals for help from journalists. On ground, Kaptagat forest is a critical area providing water to counties in the Northrift, Western and Luo Nyanza regions. However in the past decade , Kaptagat forest has lost a significant part of its cover to human encroachment activities. Subsequently various stakeholders have decided to collaborate in order to save and restore this vital water tower.
