Twende Garissa
In this episode of Twende, we travel to Garissa, a town in Kenya's North Eastern Province. We meet Nurdin, a local driver who shows us around the town and the surrounding area. We visit the Barazapa public park, which is on the banks of the Tana River. We see a variety of animals in the park, including mamba snakes and mubukupwa birds. We also see people enjoying the park, including a group of children who are swimming in the river. We are impressed by the trees in Garissa town, which we say are more numerous than in Nairobi's Eastlands area. We end our trip by taking a picture with a cow in a roundabout.
